Hi Zenith Catcher, Some people build their entire worldview around one idea. Stoicism. Feminism. Trauma. ADHD. Communism. Capitalism. Whatever it is, it becomes their single lens for everything. But the world isn’t a lens. It’s a painting. And if you only look at one color, you miss the whole picture. Chris Williamson once said that shallow thinkers cling to one phenomenon and try to explain everything through it. Deep thinkers, on the other hand, can hold multiple truths in their head at once, even if they contradict each other. Life’s not black or white. It’s a messy mix of both. Sometimes discipline works. Sometimes softness does. Sometimes freedom matters more. Sometimes order does. The problem isn’t believing in something, it’s mistaking a part of the truth for the whole. So don’t fall in love with one explanation. Stay curious. Because wisdom isn’t about finding the answer, it’s about seeing the full painting.
